Working with the same family for a number of years and watching children grow and develop under your care is incredibly fulfilling. This position included caring for children from birth up to the age seven.
Roles of the job included creating and implementing sleep routines in newborns and toddlers, potty training, meal planning, behaviour management and dealing with tantrums.

Live-In Nanny
Living in with a family is an amazing experience as you get to spend 24/7 with the children whilst you're there and can fully immerse yourself in family life.
This role involved working with children from birth up to the age of four. I was also lucky enough to have my youngest charge born in the house when I was there. This is also what inspired me to have a home birth myself.
This position also included lots of travelling with the children, as well as weaning, settling into nursery and preparing for new siblings.

Years of Working With Children
I’ve worked with children in different capacities for over 10 years so I understand how difficult it is for parents to go to work and leave their children with someone else. This is why as a Private Nanny I have treated my host families' children as though they were my own. My approach to childcare has not changed now I am a mother. This allowed me to take my eldest child to work with me for two years where I treated all the children under my care with the same, consistent approach.
I've babysat for local families since I was 13 years old and nannied full time from the age of 19, eventually starting my own business in 2019 at the age of 27.
I then finished nannying in September 2020 with the birth of my second child to focus on family life and childcare consultancy.
